Our Story

Hello! We are Danny and Ingrid. Thanks for being open to adoption and taking the time to check us out. We value our relationship with God, family, and each other, and are excited to share our unconditional love with another child. Although we have struggled for several years with infertility, long before that God had placed adoption on both of our hearts. We started discussing it back when we were dating.

We met at Ingrid’s cousin’s wedding reception. Ingrid was living in Arizona and Danny was living in Wisconsin. We dated long distance and then Ingrid moved to Wisconsin. Our first date was hiking and hot cocoa. We both love being active and Ingrid especially loves staying warm so the hot cocoa was a perfect addition to the date!

We have been married now for 9 years and we are the best of friends. We share a love of the outdoors and traveling. Our common values and faith have helped us to encourage one another to be our best selves. We work hard to play hard.

Throughout our years of marriage we created a family business and know how to work well together. This is true for our business and in parenting. We were blessed with our son, Steven, through adoption in 2020. He has brought so much joy to our lives! He would love to have a sibling to grow up with.

Life has changed some since this video. Danny has since become self-employed and we have become parents, but who we are remains.

Our Promise

We will unconditionally love and support this child. We will encourage and equip this child to try new things and to reach his or her full potential.

Ingrid is a stay-at-home mom and occasionally picks up shifts as an occupational therapy assistant. This allows her to dedicate her time to raising this child by providing safety, exciting learning experiences, and play dates with other friends who are positive influences.

Danny has a flexible work schedule which also allows him to be available for more family time. We will both be around to instill good values while also being a whole lot of fun!

Lastly, we want you to know that we are open to a relationship with you after he or she is born. We are willing to navigate with you what that might look like, if that is something you desire.
